A Sweet Repeat: Holm Made Toffee Co. Brings Home Two Awards from the 2015 Oregon Chocolate Festival

Bend, OR, March 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Holm Made Toffee Co. announced today that they were a big winner at the 11th Annual Oregon Chocolate Festival held March 6th – 8th in Ashland, OR. The event featured over 30 artisan chocolatiers from Oregon, Washington and California.

The festival boasts eight award categories - seven are voted upon by industry judges, and one is fan voted. The judges awarded Holm Made Toffee Co. “Best Chocolate Candy – Honorable Mention” for their brand new flavor – Cardamom and Vanilla Toffee. In 2014 Holm Made Toffee Co. was also awarded “Best Chocolate Candy” for their Lavender Toffee.

Holm Made Toffee Co. was also awarded the fan voted, “People’s Choice Award 2015” at the conclusion of the event. This is the second year in a row that HMTC has received this honor, also taking home the same award in 2014.

For the second year in a row HMTC debuted a new flavor at the event. “We went out on a limb again this year,” said owner Donna Holm. “It is a risk to enter a brand new flavor combination to the judges instead of a tried and true recipe, but our friends and family assured us that the Cardamom & Vanilla would go over well.
