Adventurer Uses Ebay Auctions to Garner Sponsorship for Pacific Crossing on Scrap Raft

Spokane, WA, January 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The media follows David Pearlman aka Poppa Neutrino wherever he goes. Poppa Neutrino’s journeys have been chronicled by National Geographic, the New Yorker and dozens of other media outlets. This latest voyage is certain to garner the same kind of attention that his earlier ones have. Pearlman is no stranger to ocean crossings, having crossed the Atlantic during the nineties and even having made a 1800 mile journey down the Mississippi River.

The Neutrinos have built ten rafts. Each of Poppa Neutrino’s rafts has been built almost entirely from salvaged and recycled materials. Each has been designed for the environment and waters upon which it was to be used. This leg in the Sea of Cortez will provide additional testing of the vessel before final modifications are made near Cabo for the next major leg across the Pacific Ocean eventually arriving in China. Poppa Neutrino is now just south of San Felipe, Baja Mexico. The Island Rooster is his latest raft and it is currently undergoing final test floats near Playa Percebu. The voyage south will cover nearly the entire Sea of Cortez and will provide the adrenalin packed adventures that Neutrino seems to always gravitate back towards.
