BDBC Discovers Rewards Beyond the Bottom Line
Bull Dog Bag Company, maker of the Bull Dog Bag, the "diaper bag" for dog owners, discovers that being involved in community organizations has rewards that extend beyond the bottom line.
Dallas, TX, November 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Bull Dog Bag Company, a Dallas, TX-based pet accessories company, is ending 2007 by celebrating the achievement of its goal to be involved in animal rescue work and community charity events. The achievement of this goal extends well beyond the rewards of increased visibility and profits. The company's owner had the following to say: "I come from a corporate environment where the companies I worked for in the past were active in things like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The Cowtown Brushup and the United Way, among other events. There is a feeling of joy you get when you help someone else that you can't get doing any other thing, even making money. I wanted to make sure when I started Bull Dog Bag Company, one of the main goals of the company would be to be actively involved in things like pet rescue work and community fundraisers. It's a great way to keep the company name out there, but it also gives me a feeling of joy to know that my company is making a difference in someone's life, be it human or animal."
Over the past year, the company had the privilege and honor to be asked to be involved in a couple of worthwhile events. Of note was the opportunity to donate raffle items to aid the Nodrog Gordon Setter Club of Michigan, Inc.'s (http://www.nodrog.org/) annual fundraising effort, and to "Bull-o-ween", an annual event held by Lone Star Bulldog Rescue (http://www.dfwbulldogrescue.org/), a bulldog rescue organization based in Dallas, TX.
BDBC also donated items to the local SPCA Second Chance rescue center in Plano, TX. By continuing to be actively involved in the community in which many of its clients and business partners live and work, Bull Dog Bag Company wants to establish itself as a caring member of society.
Bull Dog Bag Company produces the Bull Dog Bag, a tote aimed at simplifying the lives of dog owners by enabling them to carry things for their dogs in one complete package. The totes are available online at http://www.bulldogbagcompany.com or in brick-and-mortar retail outlets K-9 University (www.k-9.com) in Plano, TX and Garland, TX, and in Odyssey Pets (www.OdysseyPets.com), in North Dallas, TX.
