Brock to Serve on Lee County Citizen Advisory Committee for the Conservation 20/20 Program
Fort Myers, FL, March 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Amanda Brock has been appointed to serve on the Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Advisory Committee (CLASAC), which is the Lee County Board of County Commissioners’ citizen advisory committee for the Conservation 20/20 Program. The CLASAC works with willing sellers to acquire properties of environmental significance and works to restore the land to its natural state and condition. The CLASAC also manages the acquired property in an environmentally-acceptable manner and provides public recreational opportunities that will protect the land’s natural resources.
Brock concentrates her practice in administrative law, particularly in the area of land use and environmental law. She routinely handles matters involving environmental compliance, zoning, development approvals, property tax appeals, and hazardous waste site remediation. Brock is very active in the community. She serves as Vice President on the Board of Governors for the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS); on the Leadership Council for the Take Stock in Children program; on the Brownfields Advisory Board for the City of Fort Myers; and, on the Executive Council of the Environmental and Land Use Section (ELULS) of the Florida Bar, chairing the Land Use Committee.
