Rosco Signs Record Deal With Wide World The Label and Releases His First Huge Single You Feel Me Featuring Platinum Recording Artists Akon and Jadakiss Off Of The Upcoming Debut Album CheckDig.Com
Atlanta, GA, November 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Wide world the label announced the signing of hot new artist Rosco and released his first single You Feel Me, featuring platinum recording artists Akon & Jadakiss which became an instant crossover hit. Rosco’s debut album CheckDig.Com features some of the hottest A-List collaborations for 2008, such as Q of 112. One of the industries hottest new record labels, Wide World The Label, will be shooting Rosco’s You Feel Me video in Atlanta, Georgia and he is slated to work with some of the biggest icons in the music industry.

While growing up in Toledo, Ohio Rosco honed his lyrical skills using life experiences and the adversity around him for inspiration. With the goal to improve his life, Rosco made it his mission to become one of the music industries most respected and revered artists. Rosco’s older brother, Markie, was soon signed to Short Records, Too Short’s record label, which helped to take Rosco on a path to witness other recording artists (Lil’ Jon and Ludacris) become megastars.
For the next 7 months Rosco traveled to Atlanta to have meetings with various labels, The Game, Markie, Wide World The Label, Ludacris and DTP; He soon decided to sign with the industries hottest new label – Wide World The Label. For over a decade Anthony Hendrickson and Alvin Toney, CEO’s of Wide World The Label, have worked with top artists such as 50 Cent, Usher, Lil Kim, Jermaine Dupree, Redman, Young Jeezy, Ashanti, NAS, Lil Wayne and Jadakiss; Simultaneously producing some of the biggest and hottest events in the industry. In the 1980’s Alvin Toney introduced Eric B and Rakim to each other, starting their legendary career. He also launched Redman’s career by introducing him to Eric Sermon. For 12 years Alvin Toney provided security for EPMD and was the Executive Producer of Craig Mack’s album featuring the hit single “Flava In Ya Ear”.
Rosco joined forces with Wide World The Label’s own super producer Martel “Telly” Perrin (who has worked on projects with Jadakiss, Akon, Q of 112, Freeway, Dilated Peoples, Shawn Stockman of Boys II Men) to produce You Feel Me, featuring Akon & Jadakiss, the first single off of his debut Album CheckDig.Com; which has become highly rated on Digiwax and lyrically respected by DJ’s worldwide.
Rosco is featured on over 400 mix tapes and during the last 90 days Rosco has laid down over 5000 DJ drops. Stay tuned, Rosco is on his way to becoming one of the music industries top performers.
