Cinematic Studios Named Two Time Bay Area Videographer of the Year
The Bay Area Professional Videographer’s Association (BAPVA) named Ron Dawson, owner of Cinematic Studios, Inc. as its Bay Area 2005 Videographer of the Year. This is the second consecutive year that Mr. Dawson has earned the coveted title for his outstanding exhibition of video production work throughout the year in wedding, event, corporate, biography and non-profit markets.
San Jose, CA, January 30, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Bay Area Professional Videographer’s Association (BAPVA) named Ron Dawson, owner of Cinematic Studios, Inc. as its Bay Area 2005 Videographer of the Year. This is the second consecutive year that Mr. Dawson has earned the coveted title for his outstanding exhibition of video production work throughout the year. This title comes on the heels of his return from the first annual 4Ever Group wedding and event videography expo in Orlando, Florida. Dawson was flown out to Florida to accept the Diamond award for his concept video, Bridal Boot Camp, and was a speaker at the event. While attending the national convention, Dawson was invited by editor Stephen Nathans to join the team of EventDV magazine as a columnist. Dawson’s column will include insights and tips for creating award-winning concept videos.
Ron has 14 years of film and video experience beginning with De Anza Film/ Television School in 1992. Ron is also a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. His body of work ranges from short films and weddings to corporate and nonprofit companies with clientele including YMCA of Santa Clara Valley, Intuit’s QuickBooks division, Fuller Seminary, Flegel’s Fine Furnishings and Silicon Valley executives.
Dawson is currently serving on the Board of Directors for BAPVA and is an active member of WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) and The 4Ever Group, an international organization “dedicated to providing resources, educational materials and services to all facets of the event video industry.”
