Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR) is a means of resolving disputes outside the courtroom. It includes negotiation, conciliation, evaluation, mediation and arbitration. Mediation is also an informal alternative to litigation. Mediation is performed by trained negotiators who unite opposing parties to settle differences.
