About Bruno Drago
Bruno has been practicing in the area of Competition Law for more than 15 years, including activities related to notifications of mergers and acquisitions and associative contracts to the Brazilian Competition Policy System (“SBDC”), international and local cartels, and abuse of dominant position. Bruno’s experience involves several economy sectors, such as pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, oil and gas, energy, civil construction, health, footwear, agribusiness, electric-electronic, beverage and transportation, among other industries. Bruno is also experienced in negotiating leniency agreements, Cease and Desist Agreements (“TCCs”) and Agreements on Concentration Control (“ACCs”) as well as in implementing and reviewing compliance programs. Bruno was an associate attorney at Howrey LLP, in Brussels, where he worked on competition issues before the European Commission, Member States and European Courts (2005/2006) and in Washington, D.C.(2007). Council Member of the Brazilian Institute of Studies of Competition, Consumption and International Trade (Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos de Concorrência, Consumo e Comércio Internacional –” IBRAC”) and Member of the Competition Law Commission (Comissão de Direito Concorrencial – “CECORE”). Bruno has also completed his LLM in Competition Law at King's College (2005), and his phd in Commercial Law, with major in Competition, at Universidade de São Paulo (2015).
