FLEETSolutions Magazine Celebrates the Presidents of NAFA
Official association magazine looks at long, successful history of the fleet industry's premier organization.
Princeton, NJ, March 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- NAFA Fleet Management Association is an organization with a long and fruitful history. On the eve of the Association's conference, the Institute & Expo (I&E), April 14-17 in Orlando, Florida, FLEETSolutions magazine takes a look at where they've been, where they're going, and thinks about the future of fleet and of automotive-based industries.
The March/April issue of FLEETSolutions magazine, now available to NAFA membership, features incoming Association President Ruth Alfson, CAFM® on the cover. She discusses the great work that has begun with outgoing President Claude Masters, CAFM®, and delves into NAFA's sustainability efforts. "You have to think not just for now, but for the future," Alfson said. "We need to be more proactive. The more we blindly keep going with the status quo, the more we will have to overcome..."
President Masters speaks on his legacy as NAFA's 33rd President, making the way forward for Alfson. Also included is a complete listing of each of NAFA's Past Presidents, all the way from the Association's formation in 1957. It is a comprehensive look at the leadership of the fleet profession's most-trusted association.
The issue also digs into whether Alt Fuels are right for you; vehicles and the Internet-of-Everything; change management; and the education sessions that will be at I&E.
FLEETSolutions, NAFA’s official magazine, published bi-monthly, contains in-depth stories designed to educate, inform, and facilitate fleet managers to excel in their jobs. The magazine is developed to engage readership in the eight primary disciplines of fleet: Asset Management, Business Management, Financial Management, Fleet Information Management, Maintenance Management, Risk Management, Vehicle Fuel Management, and Professional Development. FLEETSolutions provides survey results on the most important topics in the fleet profession; and profiles of the best and brightest in fleet. FLEETSolutions is an exclusive benefit of being a NAFA member.
“NAFA’s FLEETSolutions is committed to bringing those subjects to light for fleet professionals,” Russo said. “NAFA believes it is our responsibility to dig and learn, no matter what, and we do that with every issue.”
