Local Builder Receives National Award from Professional Builder’s Magazine
Brandon Elliott, President of Elliott Homes LLC, has been selected to receive a Top 40 Under 40 Award from the Editorial Staff at Professional Builder magazine. This award is presented to young business leaders for their accomplishments and contributions to the home building industry.
Gulfport, MS, March 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- After hearing of his award status, 31 year old Brandon Elliott stated, “I am honored to receive this award and I have my entire team to thank for it. A business is only as good as the team behind it and I have the best.” When asked where he gets his inspiration, he explained, “When I was growing up I had amazing mentors like my grandfather. Elliott came to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2008 as a professional hockey player with the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning team. After retiring from the sport Elliott decided to go into a field that had fascinated him since he was 17 years old, construction. He formed Elliott Homes LLC and built his first home in November of 2009. As demand increased for his homes, Elliott hired a team with years of construction experience and now has more than 230 homes across the coast. “We understand we’re not masters but we will continue to improve build by build until our homes are complete perfection. The difference between an amateur and a professional is an amateur will work at it until they get it right and a professional will work at it until they can't get it wrong,” says Elliott.
Forward thinking Elliott has integrated an innovative Homebuyer’s Dashboard Program that gives customers the ability to keep track of their build online. This program provides them with constant updates on the progress of their home, their design choices and available upgrades. “With this program we can send any plan change directly to the person in the field ensuring it is completed per the customer’s request.
