ComedySportz East Coast Exhibition Tournament Comes to Boston

Boston, MA, March 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The ComedySportz Franchise will hold its annual East Coast Cities Tournament in Boston the weekend of April 17- 19, 2015. This year improv professionals from New York City, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Richmond will visit Boston to compete against the home team in a series of improv games.

The ComedySportz format is two teams of three using audience suggestions and participation to create original, on-the-spot comedy sketches. A referee facilitates the match and ensures a fast-action pace, explains each game premise to the audience and calls fouls for material not deemed family friendly.

Shows will take place in Jamaica Plain on Friday, April 17 at The Riot Theatre 146 A South Street and in Somerville for two shows Saturday April 18, and again on Sunday, April 19, at The Davis Square Theatre 255 Elm Street.
