RE/MAX Honors Leaders of Bolingbrook, Burr Ridge and Moline Offices as Industry Trendsetters
The RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network recently honored two of its broker/owners for their role as industry leaders, presenting both with the prestigious Trendsetter Award during its 38th annual awards ceremony.
Chicago, IL, March 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network recently honored two of its broker/owners for their role as industry leaders, presenting both with the prestigious Trendsetter Award during its 38th annual awards ceremony. Receiving the awards were Ed Lukasik, Jr., broker/owner of RE/MAX Professionals, with offices in Bolingbrook and Burr Ridge, Ill., and Rich Bassford, broker/owner of RE/MAX Elite Homes of Moline, Ill.
The Trendsetter Award recognizes individuals who are consistently ahead of the curve when it comes to industry trends and whose progressive outlook and actions benefit their office and the entire RE/MAX organization.
Lukasik acquired the Bolingbrook office, where he had been a top salesperson, in 2010, at a time when the industry was contracting in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. He then opened a new office in Burr Ridge in 2014. Both offices are strategically located near I-55 for easy access.
Though the two markets are different in many key respects, Lukasik found success in both, recruiting a strong group of broker associates and quickly expanding the RE/MAX market share in each area.
Bassford was honored for his success in revitalizing the RE/MAX brand in the Moline portion of the Quad Cities market. He had ranked as the top producing Realtor® in the Quad Cities for four consecutive years based on total closed sales volume before opening RE/MAX Elite Homes last year. Previously he had been affiliated with a RE/MAX office in the Iowa portion of the Quad Cities area. The office opened last May and already has a sales force of 17 brokers.
