MyTEFL.net combines English language training and TEFL certification, with an extensive network of employment and volunteer placement partners around the world.
Co-founder, James Tarantino, explains “With myTEFL, we’ve created a community which supports new teachers to not only develop vital classroom skills, but also find exciting work and volunteering opportunities.”
As part of the Giving Back pledge, myTEFL furthers commitment to education by working along side charities GreaterGood and RoomtoRead - helping build libraries around the world, and purchasing school supplies for children in rural Bolivia with each new TEFL student enrolled.
James comments “Education is such a powerful tool. We know that each new graduate opens a world of possibilities to the students wherever they choose to teach. But with myTEFL, we’re always looking for ways to further that impact.”
Since launching in spring, 2014, graduates from myTEFL are already working and volunteering in destinations including China, Thailand and Africa, with more initiatives to come this year.
