Polaroid Partners with L'Image Home Products to Launch New Polaroid Home Lighting Line in Canada, Spain and Russia
Montreal, Canada, March 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- L'Image Home Products Inc. announces a new license agreement with Polaroid to bring to market a new line of Polaroid-branded home lighting products in Canada, Spain and Russia. Consumers around the world instantly recognize the Polaroid brand and associate it with fun, easy to use, creative products. Benefiting from this widespread brand recognition, L'Image Home Products will sell Polaroid lighting products to retailers within its licensed territories including the broad range of major retailers they already work with.
Lighting has been at the heart of the Polaroid brand DNA since Edwin Land left Harvard in the 1930s to peruse his own research in light polarization. Desk lamps were one of the first Polaroid products launched in 1939, and Land’s work with light polarization led to the invention of numerous products including the Polaroid camera.

The agreement includes products such as LED, compact fluorescent, halogen, incandescent and specialty (carbon filament) light bulbs; AC/DC powered indoor mounted lighting fixtures with integrated LED light sources; LED and incandescent rope lights for residential applications for distribution in Canadian, Spanish and Russian markets. The agreement also includes super heavy duty, alkaline, lithium, silver oxide, zinc-air hearing aid primary batteries as well as rechargeable batteries and compatible battery chargers for the Russian market. The products will be available at major Canadian, Spanish and Russian retailers as soon as 3rd quarter of 2015.
