Mrs. Tabb has 6 years experience in the alterations field. She is the Owner of Sewing and Alterations by Dawn in Westminster, Maryland. She specializes in performing alterations from simple zipper installations to wedding gowns and furniture upholstery. Mrs. Tabb is especially proud of transforming a thrift store prom dress into a wedding gown. Also, she is a Sales Representative with Avon and sells their products in her neighborhood and on-line. Previously, Sergeant Tabb served as a Telecommunication Specialist and Military Intelligence Agent with the U.S. Army including assignments at the White House and Pentagon (1974 through 1983). After a medical separation, she worked as an Executive Secretary, Technical Writer, Editor and Proposal Manager with Raytheon through 1999. Mrs. Tabb served with the blood collection division of the American Red Cross from 2000 through 2009 before retiring and beginning her alteration business. She was born in a small town near Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 10, 1950, but traveled around the world with the U.S. Army and Raytheon. She attended San Jose State University, University of Maryland, and Carroll County Community College. Her hobbies include crocheting, singing and cooking.
