Mr. Lowrey was recognized with the Client Distinction Award by Martindale-Hubbell in 2013. He worked from 1971 to 1973 in the office of the general counsel for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, D.C. and was the Director of the annual fund for the Stanford University Law School from 1973 to 1976. He has been an attorney with Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss since 1976. Mr. Lowrey’s education includes a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management from the University of California-Davis in 1968, a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1971 and a Mediation Certificate from the Mandell Gisnet Center for Conflict Management in Monterey, CA. Mr. Lowrey was recognized as Member of the Year in 1991 and Citizen of the Year in 1996 by the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce. He was also recognized as Member of the Year by Leadership Gilroy. He is the Past President of the Gilroy Rotary Club, and is Past President of the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hartnell Community College Board of Trustees and Leadership Gilroy. He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, and enjoys Rotary activities, church activities, folk music, gardening, running, swimming and camping in his spare time.
