Sensei Chris Feldt Selected as Judge for Teacher of the Year in Richland School District 2

Columbia, SC, March 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor of Samurai Karate Studio, located in Richland Northeast Columbia, South Carolina, was invited to be a judge in the Richland School District 2 teacher of the year award.

"There were a total of 30 nominees," commented Feldt, "and I was chosen with several other people in the district to evaluate 10 of the nominees and grade them in order of their package submitted."

Once all of the judges review the nominees, the selection of teachers is reduced to 10, where a more in depth review is made, including interviewing the teachers and observing them in the classroom.

Feldt said, "There were so many great nominees and it was very difficult to prioritize them. Richland School District 2 is blessed to have many great teachers and I am honored to be part of the nominating process for best teacher of the year."
