Michael Nourmand Selected as Member of Board of Directors for Sunset & Vine Business Improvement District
Hollywood, CA, March 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Michael Nourmand is the newest member of the Board of Directors for the Sunset & Vine Business Improvement District (BID). The board of directors for the Sunset & Vine BID (known as the Central Hollywood Coalition – CHC – board of directors) consists of a group of property owners and/or representatives. The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss important issues and address timely items pertaining to the overall betterment of the Sunset & Vine BID.
The Sunset & Vine BID is a five-year, property-based BID that spans 15 blocks along the world-renowned Sunset Boulevard, from roughly Schrader Boulevard on the west to the 101 Freeway on the east. Reestablished in 2006, the SVBID is composed of approximately 150 property owners and 276 parcels.
The Central Hollywood Coalition, the non-profit organization that oversees the SVBID, manages a budget of $1.49 million annually, to fund a security program, street cleaning services, streetscape beautification, homeless outreach and marketing. These funds are made possible by the BID property owners that pay a yearly assessment.
Michael Nourmand is the representative for his family which owns one of the most beloved buildings in Hollywood –The Historic Hollywood Athletic Club. Michael comes to the CHC Board with a BS in Business Administration from USC and he is a licensed real estate Broker in California. He is a second-generation Realtor and he is the President of Nourmand & Associates where he manages more than 150 real estate agents. As a compliment to his professional career, Michael has served as a director for the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors. In addition, he is a current member of the prestigious Beverly Hills Rotary Club. As a member of the CHC Board, he would like to promote the Hollywood brand to attract greater local attention and bring new businesses to the neighborhood.
