Australia's Georgia Mansur to Present at 4th Annual Plein Air Convention and Expo
Australia's Georgia Mansur and her debut as one of 60+ world-class artists presenting at the prestigious 4th Annual Plein Air Conference and Expo from April 13-17, 2015. Georgia's love for painting and her passion to share her talent with others has led her to teach workshops all over the globe and even at sea as one of Cunard Cruiseline's Artist in Residence. Mudgee, Australia, March 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Artist Georgia Mansur of Mudgee, Australia will be one of several international presenters for the 4th Annual Plein Air Convention and Expo’s popular water media track. This is Georgia’s first speaker appearance at the convention which will take place from April 13 – 17, 2015 at the Monterey Conference Center at 1 Portola Plaza, Monterey, California. Georgia will be speaking on the Water Media Stage in the De Anza Ballroom on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. Registration is still open for attendees by visiting http://streamlinepublishing.com/s/. Georgia will also be teaching mixed media and plein air workshops in Santa Barbara and Carmel from March 31 – April 11, 2015.
Georgia grew up in California and moved to Outback Australia in 1984. A new environment on an isolated cotton farm gave a chance to look inward for a source of self-expression. A water media specialist, Mansur loves the ease of traveling with paints that wash up in water and continues to explore and express her fascination with nature. Having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at CSU Sacramento, Georgia feels painting is another level to communicate that goes well beyond words. Making a connection with the viewer and truly touching and inspiring others is her ultimate goal.
She is an Official Artist in Residence for Cunard Line Cruises and created the blueprint for the Artist in Residence Program at Emirates Wolgan Valley Luxury Resort, Blue Mountains, Australia. Georgia is also a certified International Golden Artist Educator and an Official Ambassador and creator or the ‘Georgia Mansur Palette’ by Daniel Smith Paints.
