GBMP Offers Workshops on Lean in Healthcare This Spring in Boston
Registration is now open for two 1-day workshops on Lean techniques for hospitals and other health care offices at Fenway Health in May & June 2015.
Boston, MA, March 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The programs are open to all people working in all health settings, including labs, clinics, dental offices, pharmacies, and skilled nursing facilities. On Friday, May 22, 2015, GBMP Continuous Improvement Manager Dan Fleming will teach “5S in Healthcare: Improvement Patient Experience through Staff Engagement” and on Friday, June 19, he will return to Fenway Health to teach “Problem Solving for Lean Teams: Techniques to Succeed in the Changing Healthcare Environment.”
The Continuous Improvement philosophies and best practices taught by GBMP to eliminate waste in manufacturing and office settings have been put to the test in healthcare environments around the world with much success. The healthcare industry is a perfect setting to reap the benefits of Lean and can lead to fewer accidents and mistakes, improved employee morale, increased throughput, reduced costs and higher profits.
