Stainless Steel Churns from Detectamet Encourage Secure Ingredient Handling
Detectamet’s Stainless Steel Churns are ideal for handling ingredients in food production. The smooth corners, fine welding and finely ground rivet fittings prevent entrapment and allow easy cleaning. Ingredients can be prepared in advance, sealed and transferred securely to the main process. With two handles they are easily man-portable and protected against accidental spillage or contamination.
York, United Kingdom, April 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- With increasing enquiries for Stainless Steel products Detectamet is particularly happy to be dispatching a special consignment of equipment ordered by Unilever in the USA.
This week the Yorkshire based company has just dispatched a number of higher Grade 316 Stainless Steel Churns with lids to Unilever’s New Century site in the USA where they can be used for handling special ingredients in production processes.
The order was won after a careful assessment and trial period to satisfy the customer that the churns would do the job expected of them. The 15 litre (4 gallons US) churns were chosen from a range of 5 litre to 20 litre sizes with an easy pouring lip and four secure latches to hold the lid into place.
The hygienic polished steel construction is designed and made with smooth corners, fine welding and finely ground rivet fittings to prevent trapping and allow easy cleaning. These churns enable liquid ingredients to be prepared in a high risk area, then sealed and transferred securely to the point where they are added to the main process. These sizes of churn with two handles are easily man-portable. The securely latched lid protects against accidental spillage or contamination.
“These churns look the part,” said Sean Smith Detectamet’s CEO. “The resilient polished stainless steel will be easy to clean and offer a very long product life cycle to ensure excellent value for money.”
The 316 grade stainless steel is favoured for use in the dairy industry with its challenging hygiene expectations. For more information contact S. Smith at detectamet.com
