Peaceful Ridge Rescue of Florida is Accredited by Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries
Davie, FL, April 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), the only globally recognized organization providing standards for identifying legitimate animal sanctuaries, awarded Accredited status to Peaceful Ridge Rescue as of March 20, 2015.
Accreditation signifies that Peaceful Ridge Rescue (PRR) meets GFAS’ rigorous and peer-reviewed equine care standards which are confirmed by a comprehensive site visit. Accreditation also signifies adherence to standards addressing the sustainability of the organization, ethical principles, finances, staffing, education outreach, security and safety and other operational aspects.
“Peaceful Ridge Rescue provides a valuable resource for homeless horses in Florida,” said Daryl Tropea, GFAS Senior Deputy Director. “They have established a strong working relationship with law enforcement and their community ensuring horses in need get the care and resources they need to find loving, permanent homes.”
