The Young General Ian Green Wins 3rd Straight
Ian Green KO’s Noriega to improve to 3-0.
Paterson, NJ, April 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- At the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, VA on Saturday 3/28, Green KO’d Jess Noriega with 4 seconds to go in the second round of their 4 round super middleweight bout. Green floored the tough veteran Noriega with a straight right hand to the head after taking control of the fight from the opening bell.
Chris Oliveras, General Partner of Kran Sports and Entertainment Management, who manages Green, stated going into the fight, “this fight is special for Green because it is Ian’s first fight since the death of his father due to cancer in February. They had a special father/son relationship and Ian wanted to show his love and respect for his father with a great effort and outcome.”
Trainer Dwyke Flemmings said that, “this was a good test and next step for Green in his quest to become the Middleweight Champion. Noriega was a game opponent. Of course we are happy with the knockout, but we also identified areas for improvement that we will work on before his upcoming fight on 4/18.” In his next bout, Green will fight the veteran, Marlon Farr at the Paramount Theater in Huntington Long Island.
