Dana Marlowe Named "Enterprising Woman of the Year" by Enterprising Woman Magazine
Silver Spring, MD, April 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Accessibility Partners, L.L.C. is pleased to announce that principal partner, Dana Marlowe, was honored as a winner of one of the Enterprising Women of the Year by Enterprising Women Magazine. This annual award encompasses women across the country, representing a wide array of businesses. Dana and her fellow nominees were honored for their achievements by their peers as the finest women entrepreneurs in North America and around the globe.
Dana was extremely humbled to win this award. Upon receipt at the awards gala, she shared, "This is a terrific honor by such a wonderful organization. I met so many dynamic women, and it is an accolade to be in their presence tonight. I'm proud to be in this class of tremendous women for the 2015 year."
The Enterprising Women award is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners. Nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders in key organizations that support the growth of women's entrepreneurship.
Dana met and networked with other Enterprising Women winners and those receiving Honorable Mention for the award.
Recalling the event, Dana said, "A highlight was brainstorming with entrepreneurs from India, South Africa, Sweden, and Russia about how we can all improve the space for women to create successful companies globally."
All of the women were recognized at a gala dinner during the 13th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration, held at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida.
At the awards gala, Dana heard from some memorable speakers, such as Nelson Mandela's daughter as well as magazine editor Monica Smiley. All of the female speakers pushed entrepreneurship by women through innovation and inspiration. They also heard a motivating speech by Dr. Marsha Firestone of the Women Presidents' Organization.
