“Discovering the New York Craft Spirits Boom” Introduces New Locally-Inspired “Farm to Glass’ Movement”

It is an intimate look into each of their struggles, triumphs, and the decision to embark upon this journey. Heather Dolland, Founder of All the Tastes of New York and Author of Discovering the New York Craft Spirits Boom, was a brand ambassador for a number of premium wine and spirit companies, for over eight years.. After getting to know many of these Craft Distillers, she was inspired to tell their stories. When All the Tastes of New York was founded, the primary focus was to build and create a new dining experience with food crawls. As the emerging dining fad grew, as did the list of services they provided, which now includes but is not limited to food & wine festivals, corporate event planning, dating events, and wine and spirits promotions, just to name a few. Heather’s dedication to becoming an expert in the dining and spirit industry eventually segued into increasing her knowledge in the wine and craft spirits industries. Heather is currently studying to be a Certified Specialist of Spirits.
In anticipation of the release, a launch party entitled Meet the Distillers will be hosted by All The Tastes of New York on May 27, 2015 at Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse 255 5th Avenue from 6-8pm. Attendees will be able to sample hors d’oeuvers and taste the craft spirits featured in the book. “Meet The Distillers” is also a fine opportunity for attendees to gain first-hand knowledge on the featured craft spirits, while enjoying VIP early access to signed copies of "Discovering the New York Craft Spirits Boom."
