Louie Ludwig, Moss Pickers Announce Record Store Day Nationwide Date

New Orleans, LA, April 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Louie Ludwig and The Moss Pickers have named April 18th, Record Store Day, as the nationwide release date for their upcoming album, "Elevation 13."

The album, produced by Ludwig and Grammy-winning producer/engineer Chris Finney, captures the sessions the New Orleans singer-songwriter cut with the "almost traditional" string band The Moss Pickers at the band's house in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Mixed and mastered at the legendary Studio in the Country in Bogalusa.

Special guests include noted New Orleans' musicians Gina Forsyth, Brent Melancon, Dayna Kurtz, Anders Osborne, Bart Ramsey and Theresa Andersson.

Solid writing, clean picking and clear recording jump this record to the front of the year's must-hear acoustic/Americana releases, and strong early radio support hints "Elevation 13" could hold the spot for a while.
