KOSBE Hosts Mobile App Marketing Training Opportunity: Going Mobile in a Mobile World
Kingsport, TN, April 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate will host Mobile App Marketing: Going Mobile in a Mobile World on Tuesday, April 21, 12-1:30 PM, at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The training is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE), your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce, and Appville 101. Lunch will be provided to attendees.
The training is open to individuals and business owners interested in learning the benefits of having a mobile app for their business.
This interactive training will cover various topics, such as: the power of mobile apps, how mobile apps can help business grow, connecting social media with mobile apps, and the ease of client contact through a mobile app.
“Apps are very crucial in today’s society. They help us to understand the changes happening and provide us with instant connectivity. Mobile is the way to go now and will become more prevailing in the years to come,” said Keddrain Bowen, President of Appville 101. “Mobile app usage has increased over 100% from 2012 to 2013, meaning the amount of time that people spend using apps has more than doubled!”
Keddrain Bowen is the President and Co-founder of Appville 101. Bowen graduated from Tusculum College in 2003 and went on to start Fanatics 101, a sports attire retail store with locations The Mall at Johnson City and The Asheville Mall. Bowen is a member of the 2011 “40 Under 40” class and is the 2013 KOSBE Award winner of the Young Entrepreneur category. Appville 101 received the 2014 KOSBE Award for Multi Business.
