Star Named After Radio Show Host Grandmother Mazina as Memorial Tribute
Grandmother Mazina, Host of Grandmother's Basket Radio Show, passed away in March 2015; Storytellers Campfire will Host a Memorial Tribute on Friday, April 10, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time and share highlights of her life and the Star dedicated to her by fans and admirers.
Bellevue, WA, April 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Storytellers Campfire Radio has been airing since 2006 and Grandmother Mazina join the staff in 2010. Grandmother Mazina became a Host of her own show; Grandmother's Basket, which was part of a partnering program StoryTales, both featured on Storytellers Campfire Radio Shows.
Grandmother's Basket featured short stories, fables, moral and many factual animal stories. Each week Grandmother Mazina brought a basket to the campfire and shared what was inside her basket with "all you little ones and the big ones too" her personal voice signature as a radio show personality and favored by fans.
"Grandmother Mazina had a grandmotherly quality and fans loved her shows," commented Lady Selah SuJuris, Program Director of Storytellers Campfire Radio. The segment aired a short few years but made a significant impact with listeners.
Grandmother Mazina battled with Chronic Kidney Disease and was a fighter against all odds and consistently recuperated beyond professional medical expectations until this last year. "She was tired in the end, but she fought the fine fight," commented JoVonn a dear and close friend.
