Mars National Bank Supports Women in Banking
Mars, PA, April 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Mars National Bank was well represented at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Women In Banking event in March. The event was held at the Hershey Lodge and hosted over 260 women banking professionals. Representing the Bank at the conference were Lisa Kooker, Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer, Tracie Williams, Vice President, Human Resources Manager, Hope Pifer, Assistant Vice President, Senior Financial Analyst, and Shelley Schweinsberg, Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Lending.
The Women in Banking initiative recognizes the significant number of women involved in the success of Pennsylvania’s banking industry. The group is peer-based and interactive, and features educational programming within PA Bankers' six regional groups. Mars National Bank is part of the Association’s Group 8 which is comprised of western Pennsylvania counties including Allegheny, Beaver and Butler. The group’s goal is to provide professional development opportunities, mentoring programs, networking, recognition and volunteer activities among the Association's female members.
