PAC Machinery Announces New, Extended Warranties
PAC Machinery, a leader in the bag sealing and flexible packaging industry, announced today that it will offer new, extended limited warranties on a large cross-section of their product lines. “Our focused effort toward continuous product improvement has resulted in exceptionally trouble-free machines,” said Mr. Greg Berguig, VP Marketing at PAC Machinery. “And the improvements will enable us to add value to our customers in the form of longer product warranties,” Mr. Berguig continued.

Packaging equipment warranties have been extended on most of the key PAC Machinery product lines. In many cases the new warranties exceed the industry standard for similar machines by a considerable margin. DEM shrink wrap machine warranties have been extended to 3 years, exceeding the industry average of two years. Audion Magneta impulse bag sealers now carry a warranty of three years; similar sealers from other manufacturers generally offer a 1-year warranty. Many Clamco sealers now have their standard 1-year limited warranty extended to two years. “In an industry where it’s difficult for the customer to differentiate one sealer brand from the next, favorable warranties like ours can be an important consideration to the customer. We feel that the new warranties communicate the confidence we have in our equipment,” adds Berguig.
Limited warranties on nearly all Vertrod sealers have been extended to three years, with the exception of Vertrod hand sealers, which have been extended to two years. Warranty on vacuum sealers (chamber and nozzle-style) have been extended to three years on select models and two years on others.
Warranty claims apply only to the original purchaser and to electrical and mechanical defects. The warranty does not cover consumable parts (insulator, seal wire, etc.).
