IMC Radio’s “Plane Talk” Comes Back on the Air Broadcasting Live Daily from the Sun ’n Fun in Florida
Lakeland, FL, April 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- IMC Radio’s “Plane Talk,” a live-streaming aviation internet radio talk show sponsored by the IMC Club International, will be back on the air broadcasting live from its remote studio in Lakeland, FL during the 2015 Sun ’n Fun, International Fly-In & Expo starting April 21 and continuing through April 25.
Produced by the new Executive Producer Howie Marlin, the live broadcasts of “Plane Talk” will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (EST) on their Spreaker radio platform. Listeners can listen to the show at the IMC Club website, spreaker.com or an easy to use iPhone/iPad or Android Spreaker interface which is available for download on the iTunes store.
Howard (Howie) B. Marlin, the newly appointed Executive Producer of the show was born in NJ in 1954. He keeps his tricked out PA28-180 at 1B2 on Martha's Vineyard where he is an Psychotherapist and Emergency Services Clinician. Howie started flying in 2007 and he is a member of the Air Crew with USCG Aux Air. He is also an on-air talent at Sun 'n Fun Radio, IMC Radio, cheerleader for Uncontrolledairspace.com; Flying Musicians Association, and documentary video producer at Aviationisland.info. He is also helping to lead the charge at the Arthur M. Godfrey Aviation Association (AMG-AF.org) with the hopes of helping fund kids who look skyward - and want to be there.
During the show listeners will be able to interact with the hosts, Derek Lagasse, commercial pilot and student of an Aviation Degree College Program; Jon Roberts, private pilot, musician, entertainer, one of the original founders of the “Plane Talk” and their guests by commenting in the show’s live “online chats” which will be opened while the show is broadcasting. They can also tweet at @theplaneguys or simply stop by the Sun ’n Fun Radio’s studio, at pavilion 29 and say hello.
After starting its regular broadcasts in November of 2011, IMC Radio quickly became one of the most popular stations in the entertainment/talk category on the “Speaker Web Radio”. In 2011 the show was nominated for the “Speaker Show of the Year Award.”
Forced to stop its live programming due to an inability to broadcast from its studio location at the Norwood, MA Airport, the “Plane Talk” was off the air in a search of the new location since the fall of last year. “Plane Talk’s” recorded content of previous shows since then has reached 70,000 plays and still maintains over 23,000 followers.
According to the hosts and the producer the regular weekly live broadcast of “Plane Talk” will resume shortly after the Sun ’n Fun on the air event.
