About Gregory W. Ripley
Mr. Ripley has over 30 years experience in the engineering and architectural fields. He is the CFO and COO of Rutherford + Chekene which is an international engineering firm providing professional structural & geotechnical consulting engineering services for public and private clients. He is responsible for finance, operations management, risk management and the oversight of all human resources. Previously, Mr. Ripley worked for Gensler Architects and HOK Architects. He has performed internal financial reviews and is responsible for the development of financial, HR and organization policies and procedures, corporate risk management, ownership transition plans and the implementation of a Cash Balance Pension Plan. He designed and implemented a new 401(k) plan including plan provider and broker relationships, investment committee management and the guidance of fiduciary responsibilities. Mr. Ripley is on the Advisory Board of Care 4 Peace, the Board of Directors of Pilgrim Park and is affiliated with the Bay Area Financial Officer Group. He was born in Akron, Ohio and obtained an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of San Francisco in 1989. He married Sheree in 1981 and they have one child. In his spare time Mr. Ripley enjoys gardening, photography and golf.
