Hauppauge, NY, April 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Gerard Santinelli, President & CEO of Santinelli International, hosted an all-day Leadership Meeting with Long Island executives of small, business-to-business companies on April 21st, 2015.
The event was a round-table discussion about hiring for success, lowering cost-of-doing business expenses, handling winter weather business disruptions, employee engagement and other matters small business owners face on LI.
This is the second year in a row that the event has been organized by Gerard Santinelli, who hopes to make it an annual occurrence going forward. Faced with a lower unemployment rate than the national rate, many small companies in the area are challenged with getting the “right people, in the right seats.” Furthermore, as the region has been greatly affected by frequent winter storms year after year, businesses face issues with regards to office closures and the ramifications of those closures on their profits.
According to Gerard Santinelli, “We find great value in these meetings, which help us to process the issues we all face, and collectively come up with solutions that help us to succeed.”
Long Island companies looking to join these meetings can contact Barbara Wagner at 631.731.1349.
