McLean, VA, April 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- In honor of Earth Day, Roadfly announced that the Volkswagen Golf TDI clean diesel and e-Golf electric plug-in have received Roadfly’s 2015 Drive Green award. Roadfly’s Drive Green Award finalists included the BMW i8, the Kia Soul Plug-in, the Land Rover Range Rover Td6, and the Lexus NX 300h.

The Golf TDI and its 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four return an EPA combined rating of 36 mpg. The 2015 e-Golf is Volkswagen’s first all-electric vehicle it produces zero tailpipe emissions and has an EPA-estimated range of 83 miles.

In order to be eligible to receive Roadfly’s Drive Green award a vehicle must be all-new or have been substantially upgraded as a 2015 model.
