The Southwest Florida Chapter of FPRA recognizes local PR superstars.
Fort Myers, FL, April 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Connie Ramos Williams, CEO and President of CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing, is proud to announce that the agency was presented with a total of five Image Awards at the 2015 Image Awards Gala, hosted by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association on April 21 at the Marina at Edison Ford. The firm took home three Awards of Distinction, one Image Award and a coveted Grand Image Award for excellence in its public relations work on behalf of four of its clients. Entries for the local Image Awards are judged by FPRA chapters outside the Southwest Florida region.
An Image Award and the prestigious Grand Image Award were presented to CONRIC in the “News Release” category of the “Printed Tools of Public Relations” division for its work on behalf of Ford’s Garage. The winning news release announced that the Fort Myers-based eatery had become the first business in its industry to enter into a brand licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company, allowing it to use the logo, archival photographs, memorabilia and other assets associated with the automotive giant. An Image Award is presented to any top-scoring entry in a category. A Grand Image Award is presented to the best Image-Award entry across several divisions.
Three Awards of Distinction were also awarded to CONRIC. A public relations program developed to communicate with members of the Lee County Bar Association that combines the power of its magazine, which CONRIC publishes, and a new website and newsletter designed by the firm met the standard of excellence set by the judges. A promotional video produced on behalf of SPADA Salon & Day Spa and a new website designed for The United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties also earned the judges’ approval.

The Local Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding public relations programs and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in the region.
