BREATHE LA First Annual Asthma Symposium

Los Angeles, CA, April 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Breathe California of Los Angeles County (BREATHE LA) will hold its first Asthma Symposium on World Asthma Day - May 5, 2015. This two-hour luncheon will be held at the California Science Center, 700 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles, 90037, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The theme is “Healthy Eating, Healthy Breathing: Childhood Obesity and its Links to Asthma,” and the keynote speaker is Dr. Scott Takahashi, chair of the Asthma Coalition of Los Angeles. Other speakers include Hovik Kasamanyan of A World Fit for Kids; Heather Hayes of Let’s Move! Nation, and Frank Tamborello of Hunger Action LA. They will talk about the causes, solutions and treatment for asthma. They will also particularly focus on the links between childhood obesity and youth asthma. It will, undoubtedly, be beneficial to everyone in attendance.
