Fairfield Harbour’s Mystre’ Van Horn-Denton Wins 2015 CAI-NC Large Scale Manager of the Year
Community Manager Again Recognized for Outstanding Excellence by North Carolina Chapter of Community Associations Institute
New Bern, NC, May 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, announced that Mystre’ Van Horn-Denton, on-site community manager, was named Large Scale Manager of the Year by the Community Associations Institute’s North Carolina Chapter (CAI-NC). Van Horn-Denton, Fairfield Harbour’s community manager since 2011, oversees day-to-day operations of the community as well as communication among staff, owners, committee members, board members and local leaders.
With a longstanding background in the real estate industry, Van Horn-Denton previously worked for professional management companies in Texas, South Carolina and Virginia prior to joining Fairfield Harbour’s professional management company, Community Association Services (CAS, Inc.). Van Horn-Denton also offers private consulting with community associations who request assistance on a case by case basis. Apart from her involvement with CAI-NC, Van Horn-Denton participates in a number of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Registered Parliamentarians (NCRP), the National Association of Registered Parliamentarians (NARP), National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Association Management Specialists (AMS).
In 2012, Van Horn - Denton was named Manager of Distinction by CAI-NC, and was recognized in 2013 as a CAI-NC Manager Of The Year. Additionally, CAS, Inc. had another manager receive recognition. Jonathan Stone, manager of Hedingham in Raleigh, was awarded Manager of Distinction by CAI-NC.
