Local Realtors to Sponsor 4th Annual Kenilworth Gardens Yard Sale

Wilmette, IL, May 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Paula Weiss and Anne West of Coldwell Banker’s Come Home North Shore will once again play host as they sponsor the 4th Annual Kenilworth Gardens Yard Sale. This is the largest multi-family yard sale in Wilmette with more than 40 homes usually participating and attracting shoppers from all over the North Shore and beyond.

“The annual Yard Sale has become another wonderful Wilmette tradition,” said Anne West, co-leader of Coldwell Banker’s Come Home North Shore Team. “Not only does it inspire me and my fellow neighbors to get organized and clean out our homes, it gives everyone a chance to catch up with each other after hibernating all winter. It’s become quite festive!”

The Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 16th from 8 am – 2pm in Wilmette’s Kenilworth Gardens neighborhood, which includes the following streets: Beechwood, Kenilworth, Chestnut, Thornwood, Greenwood and Elmwood Avenues and Hunter Rd.

West and Weiss handle all of the arrangements including running ads and putting signs up on street corners to direct people to the sale. They even have an interactive website, KenilworthGardensYardSale.com where sellers can list what they are selling (typically kids’ clothing and toys, sporting equipment, furniture, household items and accessories, books, clothing, etc.) and shoppers can map out which homes they’d like to visit.

“We love organizing this event and making it super easy for everyone to participate,” said Paula Weiss, co-leader of Coldwell Banker’s Come Home North Shore Team. “But by far our favorite part is driving around in a golf cart on the day of the sale and handing out balloons to the participants. Everyone gets such a kick out of it, especially the kids.”
