Dominic Fariello Exceeds Donation Goal in Wheelchairs 4 Kids Charity Event
Fundraiser for Wheelchairs 4 Kids has its best year ever, raising over $50,000 for the charity.
Tampa, FL, May 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, May 1, 2015, Dominic Fariello and several other members of the community gathered for a fun event to raise money for Wheelchairs 4 Kids at Charley’s Steakhouse in Tampa.
The event was a mock trial, with all participants being held until their donation goal was met, complete with Steve and Julie Weintraub of Gold and Diamond Source as the judges. Children who had previously received wheelchairs from Wheelchairs 4 Kids were at the event laughing and enjoying the spectacle as well.
The event was the most successful fundraising effort in the Wheelchairs 4 Kids history, raising over $50,000.
“It was just amazing. They made a mock jail facility right there at Charley’s. My bond was $3,000, but I was fortunate enough to raise $5,000, and the money is still coming in,” says Fariello of the event and continuous stream of donations.
“You can donate anytime, not just during the event,” he then says with a smirk.
