The Gateway Family YMCA Announces School Age Child Care and Summer Camp Director
Dante Burgess is Promoted to School Age Child Care and Summer Camp Director at The Gateway Family YMCA - Elizabeth Branch
Elizabeth, NJ, May 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Gateway Family YMCA announces the promotion of Dante Burgess to the School Age Child Care and Summer Camp Director for the Elizabeth Branch, located at 135 Madison Avenue, Elizabeth. Dante will provide strategic and daily leadership for the school age child care and summer camp programs offered by the Elizabeth Branch of The Gateway Family YMCA.
“Dante’s proven experience and ability to lead will enable our school age child care and summer camp programs at the Elizabeth Branch to excel,” stated Danielle Cioffi, District Executive Director, Elizabeth Branch and Five Points Branch. “Dante brings a variety of experience and creativity to our programs as well as a positive attitude and strong leadership skills,” added Jessica Samolewicz, Associate Executive Director, Five Points Branch.
Dante’s prior experience includes 10 years at the YMCA and a diverse background in child care and summer camp. Most recently, Dante was the Coordinator for the School Age Child Care and Summer Camp programs. He graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Dante stated, “I look forward to creating and implementing new ideas for our SACC and Camp programs to ensure growth and stability.”
Summer camp registration has just begun and Dante is working hard on planning the curriculum and day trips, as well as managing the Elizabeth Branch’s after school sites throughout local schools.
The Gateway Family YMCA provides school age child care and summer camp programs through branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union, and provides after school programs in local elementary schools. The Y believes strongly in parent involvement and family bonding, providing free family memberships to full time child care participants.
