CRO Analytics Announces Partnership with ACRP to Assess Clinical Trial Quality
Partnership Will Utilize Performerâ„¢ Platform for Investigator Sites to Evaluate Trials
New Hope, PA, May 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- CRO Analytics, the leading provider of validated clinical trial performance data, announced a partnership with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) focused on measuring investigator site personnel views of clinical trial quality. The collaboration will provide critical insight into the quality of clinical trials, key drivers of that quality, and methods to improve clinical research.
CRO Analytics will develop a statistically validated data collection instrument to be used with the Performer™ platform, and work with ACRP to collect assessments from investigator site personnel. That data will be analyzed using the cloud-based SaaS software application through a series of algorithms and generate benchmarking, key driver analytics, and predictive analytics.
“We are thrilled to partner with such a prestigious organization that shares our mission of improving clinical research,” said Peter Malamis, CEO of CRO Analytics. “The partnership enables us to add the input of key participants and stakeholders in clinical trials — personnel at investigative sites – to our measurement of trial quality. Analyzing this data through our Clinical Trial Quality System, Performer™, establishes a baseline of performance for benchmarking, key driver analytics, and predictive analytics. This can help all stakeholders understand what needs to be done to make clinical trials more efficient and effective.”
“The prospect of establishing a benchmark for clinical trial quality has incredible potential for ACRP and we could not have done it without a partner such as CRO Analytics. While sites will benefit greatly from this tool, we are eager to use aggregate data to pinpoint methods to further our mission to promote excellence in clinical research,” said Terri Hinkley, Interim Executive Director of ACRP.
Throughout the partnership, CRO Analytics and ACRP will work together to develop and finalize the data collection instrument. A report of de-identified findings will be published following the conclusion of the initial project.
