Luxury Southern Nevada Development Releases Plans for $25 Million Clubhouse
ASCAYA in Henderson will feature luxury clubhouse designed by famed architecture firm Swaback Partners.
Henderson, NV, May 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Ascaya has released renderings for its luxury clubhouse. The Ascaya Clubhouse design was completed by Swaback Partners, a respected architectural firm out of Scottsdale, AZ. ASCAYA is a community of 313 custom luxury home sites nestled in Henderson’s McCollough mountain range.
The $25 million ASCAYA clubhouse is projected to begin construction in late 2015. According to sales manager Darin Marques, current and prospective ASCAYA residents have been anxiously awaiting the unveiling of its design. “In most luxury communities, the clubhouse is not a focal point because it serves very basic functions. At ASCAYA, the clubhouse is elevated to a true resort-style environment,” he said. “Swaback Partners, designers of renowned resort clubhouses at Martis Camp in Lake Tahoe and Promontory’s Nicklaus Clubhouse in Park City, will showcase the true beauty of what a clubhouse can bring to a development.”
The 22,000 square foot clubhouse will include a resort-style pool that Marques said will rival resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. A large pool and Jacuzzi will be accompanied by a separate lap swimming area, pool-side cabanas and event lawn.
“It will have views from throughout the Clubhouse and pool area,” said Marques. “This will be a signature element of ASCAYA that our residents will want to regularly use with their families and friends.”
Materials used for the ASCAYA clubhouse will incorporate a high level of desert architecture design including stone, copper and glass. Artwork will be integrated throughout the clubhouse. Additional features include:
-Shaded entry courtyard with water features and artwork
-Entry with concierge desk
-Main gathering room with bar, fireplace and seating areas
-Grand shaded outdoor living room with fire elements, seating and overwhelming view of The Strip
-Multi-Function room for events, lectures and community events with a private terrace that has Strip views
-Children's activity room
-Outdoor children's play area
-Fully equipped, high quality exercise room
-Movement studio for yoga, pilates, and dance
-Outdoor yoga lawn
-Event lawn
-Outdoor basketball court
-Locker rooms with lounge area and showers
-Three spa treatment / massage rooms
-Two tennis courts with shaded viewing pavilion
-Two levels of convenient parking
“The clubhouse demonstrates the vibrancy of this community,” said Marques. “It also shows the developer’s commitment to bringing a level of luxury and style that has not been seen in Southern Nevada at this magnitude,” said Marques. “ASCAYA’s developer is the same company behind the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills and the Carlyle in New York City. With their commitment to excellence and our partnerships with some of the world’s most renowned architects, there is no question that ASCAYA will be one of the most beautiful luxury developments Southern Nevada has ever seen.”
Award-winning architect John E. Sather, AIA, AICP, led Swaback Partners’ design team for the ASCAYA clubhouse and had an integral role in the design of its sales office. He is a graduate of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and his land planning involvements include some of the most environmentally sensitive projects in the Western United States.
ASCAYA’s first homes are also currently in development. The first residences are in the community’s architectural review process and expected to begin construction in early summer 2015.
