2015 KOSBE Survey of Women Business Owners and Professional Women
Kingsport, TN, May 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) is asking women throughout the Northeast Tennessee region to complete a short (approximately 3 minute) survey. The survey is especially for women small business owners, entrepreneurial women non-business owners, and professional women. The survey can be accessed at http://www.kosbe.org/survey.
Whether they are a professional woman or own a small business now (or are considering starting a small business enterprise in the future), it is important for KOSBE to gain a clear understanding of the constraints and needs of women business owners, female entrepreneurs and professional women in Northeast Tennessee. Wide participation in this assessment is critical to documenting the need for women’s services and programs in Tri-Cities Tennessee.
The purpose of this survey is for market research. Individual responses are confidential and anonymous. Final aggregate results will be presented at the upcoming EMERGE Women’s Professional Series meeting on Friday, November 20, at 7:30 AM, at the V.O. Dobbins Community Center.
Results from a previous KOSBE Women’s survey were cited by the Tennessee Economic Council on Women in their 2010 report, “The Economic Impact of Women-Owned Businesses in Tennessee.”
