Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress to Host Voluntary Benefits Pavilion at Annual Conference in Orlando

The 7th Annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress (EHBC) will have a Voluntary Benefits Pavilion, a dedicated space for insurance carriers to attend and showcase their services to attendees.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, May 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress (EHBC), one of the largest insurance industry conferences in the nation, will provide the first Voluntary Benefits Pavilion. The pavilion will be a dedicated area in the exhibit hall where insurance carriers can meet with attendees and discuss the unique solutions they provide.

Voluntary benefits are insurance products that are not major medical, offered by an employer, but paid for either partially or entirely by the employee. This industry is a growing market, with $6.89 billion in sales in 2013, up from $6.644 billion in 2013; and 48% of employees expect to offer voluntary products by 2018.

Employers who offer voluntary benefits, do so for many reasons. Voluntary products help fill the gaps from limited employee benefit packages. They also serve as a method of attracting and retaining talent, with 88% of respondents to a recent Aflac survey saying they feel voluntary products are important to a comprehensive benefits program.

“The Voluntary Benefits Pavilion will be a great benefit for our attendees and sponsors,” said Jonathan Edelheit, President of the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress. “The pavilion will help facilitate communication between insurance carriers and HR professionals. By bringing in our wide HR audience, we can help these carriers have the conversations they need to have with employers.”

The EHBC will take place September 27 – 30, in Orlando, FL.
