Each of the books in the "16 Extraordinary Americans" series builds reading comprehension skills and introduces influential contemporary and historical figures in an accessible, fun-to-read format. The books grab students’ interest through brief, engaging stories that are easy to read. Each book also includes discussion questions, background notes, vocabulary lists, and references.
