Summer Heats Up with Made from Scratch, Hearty Man Food
Ker’s WingHouse launches Summer menu like never before.
Largo, FL, May 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Florida based restaurant, Ker’s WingHouse, supplied Florida with mouthwatering food, thirst-quenching beer and the stunning WingHouse Girls over 20 years ago. Now, Florida’s favorite watering hole is dishing out its most significant menu evolution for 2015 with a new limited-time only Summer menu, designed to satisfy the manliest of men with savory dishes made from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
“We have really flexed our team’s culinary capabilities to create hearty, made from scratch, delicious dishes that will satisfy the hunger of the most ravenous men and women,” said Terry Ryan, chief executive officer of Ker’s WingHouse Bar & Grill. "Our Summer Man Food menu is designed to give our guests an enhanced experience by offering new flavors, more variety and everyday value."
The Summer Man Food menu was meticulously crafted by the culinary talent of six WingHouse contributing chefs, as well as the executive team. “We truly are fortunate to have spectacular culinary talent right under our wings, which made this historic new menu a reality. Just wait until we harness that power for the Fall menu,” says Ryan.
New Menu Features:
• Gator Bites
o Fresh Gator Tail, hand breaded and served in a basket with a side of Bistro and Dallas Sauce.
• Tomato Bisque
o Served in a cup or a bowl and topped with parmesan cheese and croutons.
• Baby Back Ribs
o Half a rack of Baby Back Ribs seared and then slow cooked at 250 for 4 hours, finished on the char grill and served with curly fries.
• Pork Chops
o Two 8 oz., bone in pork chops that are breaded and fried to a golden brown, then topped with a country pepper gravy and served with curly fries.
• Grilled Pork Chops
o Marinated in Mojo Sauce, then finished on the char broil grill and served with a bed of fries.
• Peel & Eat Shrimp
o Served hot with cocktail sauce and clarified butter with a lemon wedge on the side.
• Clam Roll
o Tender pieces of hand battered and fried clam strips served on a garlic toasted hoagie roll with fresh lettuce, topped with tartar sauce with a side of chips.
• Shrimp PoBoy
o Seven pieces of fresh shrimp hand breaded and fried, served on a garlic toasted hoagie roll with fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes and topped with the WingHouse Signature Sauce and a side of chips.
• Hot Dog
o A 1/4 lb Hot Dog grilled and served on a toasted hoagie roll and topped with chili, cheese, tomato, onions and sliced jalapenos with a side of chips.
• Caramel Cheesecake
o A slice of heaven on a plate topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
• Churro Chips
o Fried strips of tortilla topped with cinnamon, sugar and a side of whipped cream.
• Root Beer Float
o A classic American favorite; a scoop of vanilla ice cream served in a frozen mug with root beer and topped with whipped cream.
