Access to HE Students Hold Health Promotion Event
Oswestry, United Kingdom, May 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Access to Higher Education (HE) students at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus have recently held a Health Promotion Event in the foyer, the theme of the event was ‘Healthy Living’. The students developed interactive displays on a variety of health related subjects such as exploring the facts on fizzy drinks; how to deal with stress and anxiety; the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet and testing your fitness levels with a Wii Fit.
Jill Cawthray, Access to HE Coordinator, commented on the event, saying "the Access students have been working really hard on this event, which is the last marked assessment of the course; they have worked especially hard on the interactive displays. It has been a really enjoyable course; many of the students will progress on to degrees in nursing, occupational therapy, midwifery and social work."
