Oakwood Homes Presents Annual Summer Concert Series

Denver, CO, May 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Oakwood Homes is proud to again present its Annual Summer Concert Series, a five-concert series at the Community Amphitheater in Town Center Park at 4890 Argonne Way, Denver (80249).

The Oakwood Homes Concert Series is a community gathering, concert and celebration. Guests may bring a picnic dinner and soft drinks in cans or plastic bottles. Pets and barbecue grills are not permitted at the amphitheater on concert days. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the amphitheater in accordance with Denver Parks and Recreation ordinances.

All concerts are free, open to the public, and subject to rescheduling due to weather. Plenty of free parking is available next to the amphitheater in the Oakwood Homes parking lot. Following are the scheduled performers for the five concerts:
Ron Ivory and The Miles Apart Band performs July 4th at 8 p.m.

Oakwood Homes presents “Ron Ivory and The Miles Apart Band” live in concert Saturday, July 4th from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Come and enjoy performances of your favorite rhythm, blues and funk bands and then stay for the fireworks display.

Join your friends at the official pre-party location, the GVR Beer Garden beginning at 5 p.m. Attendees will get a choice of burger or brat, topping, fries and draft beer for only $9.99. The GVR Beer Garden is right next to Town Center Park at 4995 Argonne St.

Mr. J and Smooth Expressions performs Wednesday, July 8th at 7 p.m.
Oakwood Homes is proud to present Mr. J and Smooth Expressions live in concert Wednesday, July 8th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Come enjoy Colorado's premiere show band performing current pop and dance hits as well as your favorite funk and disco tunes.

Soul School performs Wednesday, July 15th at 7 p.m.
Oakwood Homes is proud to present Soul School live in concert Wednesday, July 15th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Come enjoy the extensive entertainment experience and vast repertoire of music which includes golden oldies, beach, Motown, country, jazz, rock, funk, rhythm and blues and contemporary. Soul School will offer music for all to enjoy.

Onda performs Wednesday, July 22nd at 7 p.m.
Oakwood Homes is proud to present Onda live in concert Wednesday, July 22nd from 7-8:30 p.m. Onda's music is a wonderful mix of originals, traditional Latin standards and rhythms blended with funk, salsa, R+B, Latin jazz, cumbia, boogaloo, boleros, reggae and modern jam arrangements. Onda's repertoire is diverse and eclectic, salsa to Sinatra, Santana and beyond, a wide range of Caribbean sounds that will move any feet and appeal to any ear.

Chase 'N The Dream Performs Wednesday, July 29th at 7 p.m.
Oakwood Homes is proud to present Chase 'N The Dream performing on Wednesday, July 29th from 7-8:30 p.m. Chase not only has a powerful, velvety voice, he has a stage presence that is engaging. He has that energy that makes you want to get up out of your chair and dance and move to the rhythm of the music. R&B, dance music, jazz, blues, old school, gospel... Chase sings it all!
