Washington, DC, November 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is proud to announce DePaul student Cassandra Papillon won NSCS’ 2007 Holiday Card Contest. NSCS will send the card featuring her design to NSCS’ partners and vendors, as well as electronically to its half-a-million members.

NSCS members voted for the winning card in an online poll. Papillon’s card won more than 30 percent of the 941 votes cast.

Papillon is a member of the class of 2010 and is majoring in graphic design. “I am glad that others enjoyed my design as much as I enjoyed creating it,” she said. “Thank you to those who voted for my card.”

NSCS held its first holiday card contest in 2003.

“It is important for us to continue this tradition of having a member design our holiday card,” NSCS’ Executive Director Stephen E. Loflin said. “This is another unique opportunity to highlight the talent and creativity of our members.”
