DTR Inc.’s CEO Jay Goldberg to Release Student Books for His Popular Work Readiness Series Soon
Mr. Goldberg’s four book work readiness series, Workplace Basics, Workplace Skills, People Skills and Customer Service will have companion student books that will be available the first week in June.
West Palm Beach, FL, June 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- With more and more venues using Jay Goldberg’s work readiness books ("Workplace Basics, Workplace Skills, People Skills and Customer Service"), a demand has arisen for classroom books for students/participants that do not contain the answers to the numerous exercises in the books.
While the books have been most popular in Pennsylvania, New York, California, Texas, South Carolina and Washington D.C.; sales of the books have also been recorded in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Virginia, Florida and more.
In addition to the lecture content, worksheets and exercises; each book contains two scenarios where things go right and things go wrong. These scenarios can be used as the basis for a certification test at the end of each module (Workplace Basics, Workplace Skills, People Skills and Customer Service). There are no questions and answers for the scenarios so each venue can generate its own certification tests and protect the integrity of its tests.
Since the scenarios are in the student books; it is recommended that the certification tests are open book tests. This has the added benefit of teaching the participants how to use the books to lookup information; a skill that will help them as they enter/continue in the workplace; especially for venues where the participants purchase/keep their books.
In addition to the exercise answers not being in the student books; the key concept reviews are also not in the student books. This allows the instructors to use them as the basis for a question and answer session with the class as either a review for the certification tests or as a demonstrated competency in its program.
The books’ official web pages can be found at http://www.dtrconsulting.biz/books.htm. The books will be available at online booksellers soon, including Amazon. Jay Goldberg’s author page at Amazon is: http://www.amazon.com/Jay-Goldberg/e/B0083056QW/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1. The books should be available, on Amazon sometime during the first week of June (with the look inside feature being activating soon after that).
